Local Area Agreements

In April 2006 Nottinghamshire County Council concluded negotiation with GO-EM to establish a Local Area Agreement. (L.A.A.) This sets out a series of indicators where the County Council and its partners have agreed to work together to achieve an improved performance within the County economy.
 
As part of this agreement the L.A.A. Partnership have committed too identifying, monitoring and supporting, a targeted group of Nottinghamshire innovative businesses up to 31st of March 2009.
 
EM-BIC have been invited to participate in the delivery of this L.A.A. by working in partnership with the Economic Development & Enterprise Partnership E.D.E.P.) to create, and expand a network of innovation support users. The aim is to identify the key initiatives that are already having an impact and assess how things could be improved in the future.
 
In order to fully contribute and ensure that the appropriate type of support is made available in the future, we need to highlight innovative businesses for inclusion.
